Council Policy Agenda Committee Council Policy Agenda Committee Meeting Minutes - Draft October 19, 2021 CALL TO ORDER The Council Policy Agenda Committee meeting was called to order at 4:02 p.m. ROLL CALL All commissioners were in attendance in Ann Arbor. City Clerk Jackie Beaudry and Assistant City Administrator John Fournier also attended the meeting. Present: 5- Erica Briggs, Jen Eyer, Travis Radina, Kathy Griswold and Linh Song APPROVAL OF AGENDA Council member Radina moved to approve the agenda, Council member Song seconded the motion.The agenda was approved with changes. Amended to let City Clerk Jackie Beaudry speak regarding the Secure Michigan Vote Petition before scheduled New Business items. Approved with changes APPROVAL OF MINUTES Council member Radina moved to approve the minutes, Council member Song seconded the motion. The minutes were approved. Approved 21-1053 Council Policy Agenda Committee meeting minutes for May 18, 2021 NEW BUSINESS RFP for Lobbying contract Council members discussed providing feedback to Mr. Fournier before November 1 on a draft scope of work for the RFP, with the intention of advertising the RFP before the end of the year. Vaccine Mandate City of Ann Arbor Page 1 Council Policy Agenda Committee Meeting Minutes - Draft October 19, 2021 Discussion with Ann Arbor City Clerk, Jackie Beaudry, regarding Secure Michigan Vote petition The Council Policy Agenda Committee unanimously voted to sponsor a resolution to support the Clerk's opposition to the Secure Michigan Vote petition. Ms. Beaudry will draw up the resolution and bring it to Council at their next meeting. UNFINISHED BUSINESS PUBLIC COMMENT None ADJOURNMENT Council member Radina moved to adjourn the meeting.
