Larcom, Jr. Building, 2nd Floor Council Work Room, 301 E. Huron Street. ROLL CALL Jennifer Alexa, Deputy City Clerk; Steve Gerhart, Deputy City Clerk; and Kelly Beattie, Boards and Commissions Coordinator were also present. Present: 3- Jacqueline Beaudry, Jason Forsberg, and Matt Thomas Absent: 2- Stephen Postema, and Robert Pfannes APPROVAL OF AGENDA Public comment section was added to the end of the presented agenda. A motion was made by Thomas, seconded by Forsberg, that the Agenda be approved with changes. On a voice vote, the chair declared the motion carried. APPROVAL OF MINUTES Election Commission Meeting Minutes of July 17, 2018 Attachments: Proposed July 17 2018 Election Commission Meeting Minutes.pdf, Approved July 17 2018 Election Commission Meeting Minutes.pdf Misspellings were corrected; original text is enclosed in brackets. A motion was made by Thomas, seconded by Forsberg, that the City Election Commission Meeting Minutes of July 17, 2018 be approved by the Commission as amended and forwarded to City Council. On a voice vote, the chair declared the motion carried. City of Ann Arbor Page 1 Election Commission Meeting Minutes - Final July 27, 2018 Revisions to the Election Inspector Appointments for the August 7, 2018 Election City Clerk Beaudry noted that the Clerk's Office has added additional inspectors to the approved appointment list, noting that the initial recruitment did not result in the desired number of inspectors. A motion was made by Thomas, seconded by Forsberg, to receive and accept the updated list of election inspectors presented by the City Clerk. On a voice vote, the chair declared the motion carried. NEW BUSINESS Public Test of the Voting Equipment to be Used on August 7, 2018 Deputy City Clerk Jennifer Alexa conducted the public accuracy and logic test of the voting equipment to be used in the August 7, 2018 Primary Election. Results of the test were certified by three members of the election commission: Jacqueline Beaudry, City Clerk; Matt Thomas, Assistant City Attorney; and Jason Forsberg, Deputy Chief of Police.
