Larcom Jr. Building, 301. E. Huron St. ROLL CALL Steve Gerhart, Deputy City Clerk, and Kelly Beattie, Boards & Commissions Coordinator, were also present. Present: 3- Jacqueline Beaudry, Matt Thomas, and Jason Forsberg Absent: 2- Stephen Postema, and Robert Pfannes APPROVAL OF AGENDA A motion was made by Thomas, seconded by Forsberg, that the agenda be approved. On a voice vote, the chair declared the motion carried. PUBLIC COMMENT None. APPROVAL OF MINUTES Election Commission Meeting Minutes - August 24, 2018 Special Meeting Attachments: EC Minutes 2018-08-24.pdf A motion was made by Forsberg, seconded by Thomas, that the minutes of the October16, 2018 meeting be approved by the Commission. On a voice vote, the chair declared the motion carried. NEW BUSINESS City of Ann Arbor Page 1 Election Commission Meeting Minutes - Final October 16, 2018 Election Inspector Appointments for the November 6, 2018 General Election Deputy Clerk Steve Gerhart presented the proposed list of election inspectors, which included a waitlist of potential University of Michigan students who had not yet been trained. Mr. Gerhart stated once trained, he would add the students to assignments on campus. A motion was made by Thomas, seconded by Forsberg, that the election inspector appointments for the November 6, 2018 General Election presented by the City Clerk's Office be approved. On a voice vote, the chair declared the motion carried. UNFINISHED BUSINESS INFORMATION/UPCOMING BUSINESS The chair announced the public accuracy test of voting equipment will take place at a special meeting to be held on October 26, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. ADJOURNMENT There being no further business to come before the Election Commission, the meeting adjourned at 2:42 P.M.
