Larcom Jr. Building, 301 E. Huron St. ROLL CALL Jennifer Alexa, Deputy City Clerk; Steve Gerhart, Deputy City Clerk; and Bonnie Theil; Acting Deputy Chief of Police, were also present. Present: 3- Jacqueline Beaudry, Jason Forsberg, and Matt Thomas Absent: 1- Stephen Postema PUBLIC COMMENT None. APPROVAL OF MINUTES 19-1132 Election Commission Meeting Minutes of October 26, 2018 Attachments: Draft Election Commission Meeting Minutes October 26 2018.pdf A motion was made by Forsberg, seconded by Thomas, that the Minutes of the October 26, 2018 Election Commission be approved. On a voice vote, the Chair declared the motion carried. 19-1133 Election Commission Meeting Minutes of November 1, 2018 Attachments: Draft Election Commission Meeting Minutes November 1 2018.pdf A motion was made by Thomas, seconded by Forsberg, that the Minutes of the November 1, 2018 Election Commission be approved. On a voice vote, the Chair declared the motion carried. INFORMATION/UPCOMING BUSINESS City of Ann Arbor Page 1 Election Commission Meeting Minutes - Final June 5, 2019 Update from the City Clerk's Office The City Clerk announced that the Clerk's Office is exploring the possibility of relocating the Ward 1, Precinct 4 Polling Place from Second Baptist Church to Guy C. Larcom City Hall. NEW BUSINESS Acting Chief of Police Jason Forsberg, designated Bonnie Theil as his alternate to the Election Commission. City Clerk Beaudry requested that the Election Commission authorize the City Clerk's Office to conduct the preliminary testing of election equipment for all elections in 2019. Thomas moved, seconded by Forsberg, the the Election Commission authorize the City Clerk's Office to conduct the preliminary testing of equipment for all elections in 2019. On a voice vote, the chair declared the motion carried. City Clerk Beaudry reminded the Commission that the next orders of business would be to appoint the election inspectors on July 16th and to conduct the Public Accuracy Test on July 25. 19-1151 City of Ann Arbor Election Commission Resolution to Consolidate Precincts and Establish Absent Voter Count Boards and Receiving Boards for the WISD Special Election to be Held in the City of Ann Arbor on Tuesday, August 6, 2019 A motion was made by Thomas, seconded by Forsberg, that the Resolution be approved by the Commission.
