Larcom Jr. Building, 301 E. Huron St. ROLL CALL Present: 2- Jacqueline Beaudry, and Matt Thomas Absent: 2- Stephen Postema, and Michael Cox Jennifer Alexa, Deputy City Clerk; Steve Gerhart, Deputy City Clerk; and Kelly Beattie, Boards and Commissions Coordinator, were also present. PUBLIC COMMENT None. APPROVAL OF MINUTES 19-1861 Election Commission Minutes from August 29, 2019 A motion was made by Thomas, seconded by Beaudry, that the minutes be approved by the Commission . On a voice vote, the chair declared the motion carried. NEW BUSINESS Jason Forsberg, arrived at 2:47 P.M., shortly after the beginning of the public accuracy test. Present: 3- Jacqueline Beaudry, Jason Forsberg, and Matt Thomas Absent: 2- Stephen Postema, and Michael Cox City of Ann Arbor Page 1 Election Commission Meeting Minutes - Final October 15, 2019 19-2001 Public Accuracy and Logic Test of the Voting Equipment to be used on November 5, 2019 Jennifer Alexa, Deputy City Clerk, conducted the public accuracy and logic test of the voting equipment to be used in the November 5, 2019 Election. Results of the test were certified by three members of the election commission: Jacqueline Beaudry, City Clerk; Matt Thomas, Assistant City Attorney; and Jason Forsberg, Deputy Chief of Police. 19-1906 Election Inspector Appointments for the November 5, 2019 Election A motion was made by Beaudry, seconded by Forsberg to adopt the resolution, including the appointments for the November 5, 2019 election, on a voice vote the chair declared the motion carried. Jason Forsberg departed the meeting at 3:07 P.M., before the commission finalized policy agenda recommendations. Present: 2- Jacqueline Beaudry, and Matt Thomas Absent: 3- Stephen Postema, Michael Cox, and Jason Forsberg 19-1964 Policy Agenda Recommendations for the 2021 Fiscal Year from the Election Commission A motion was made by Thomas, seconded by Beaudry, that the resolution containing policy agenda recommendations be approved by the Commission. On a voice vote, the Chair declared the motion carried.
