Election Commission Meeting Minutes - Final December 5, 2019
CALL TO ORDER
Jacqueline Beaudry, Chair of the Election Commission, called the
December 5, 2019 special meeting of the Election Commission
meeting to order at 3:30 PM in the 2nd floor Council Work Room of
the Guy C. Larcom Jr. Building, 301 E. Huron St.
ROLL CALL
Present: 2- Jacqueline Beaudry, and Matt Thomas
Absent: 2- Stephen Postema, and Michael Cox
Jennifer Alexa, Deputy City Clerk; Steve Gerhart, Deputy City Clerk; and
Kelly Beattie, Boards and Commissions Coordinator, were also present.
PUBLIC COMMENT
None.
APPROVAL OF MINUTES
19-2325 Election Commission Minutes, October 15, 2019
A motion was made by Thomas, seconded by Beaudry, that the
Minutes be approved by the Commission. On a voice vote, the Chair
declared the motion carried.

Michael Cox arrived at 3:32 PM, after the approval of the minutes.
Present: 3- Jacqueline Beaudry, Michael Cox, and Matt Thomas
Absent: 1- Stephen Postema

Election Commission Meeting Minutes - Final December 5, 2019
19-2320 Resolution to Permanently Relocate Precincts 1-1 and 1-12 from Rackham
Graduate School to the Michigan Union at 530 S. Street beginning with the
March 10, 2020 Presidential Primary
A motion was made by Thomas, seconded by Beaudry, that the
Election Commission adopt the resolution recommending the
relocation of precincts 1-1 and 1-12. On a voice vote, the chair
declared the motion carried.
19-2321 Resolution to Permanently Relocate Precinct 1-4 from Second Baptist
Church, 850 Red Oak Drive, to City Hall, 301 E. Huron Street, beginning
with the Presidential Primary Election on March 10, 2020
A motion was made by Thomas, seconded by Cox, that the Election
Commission adopt the resolution recommending the relocation of
precinct 1-4. On a voice vote, the Chair declared the motion carried.
19-2323 Resolution to Permanently Relocate Precinct 5-3 from Second Baptist
Church, 850 Red Oak Drive, to Ann Arbor Open at Mack, 920 Miller
Avenue Beginning with the March 10, 2020 Presidential Primary Election
A motion was made by Thomas, seconded by Cox, that the Election
Commission adopt the resolution recommending the relocation of
precinct 5-3. On a voice vote, the Chair declared the motion carried.

ADJOURNMENT
Seeing no further business before the Commisison, the Chair
declared the meeting adjourned at 3:45 P.M.
