Huron Street. The meeting was broadcast for public participation via Zoom. ROLL CALL Assistant City Attorney Matt Thomas and Deputy Chief Jason Forsberg were present to represent the City Attorney and Police Chief. Present: 3- Jacqueline Beaudry, Matt Thomas, and Jason Forsberg Absent: 2- Stephen Postema, and Michael Cox PUBLIC COMMENT None. APPROVAL OF MINUTES 21-0088 Election Commission Minutes from October 22, 2020 A motion was made by Forsberg, seconded by Thomas, that the Election Commission Meeting Minutes of October 22, 2020 be approved by the Commission and forwarded to the City Council. On a voice vote, the Chair declared the motion carried. NEW BUSINESS 21-0087 City Election Commission Policy Agenda Recommendations for the 2022 Fiscal Year A motion was made by Thomas, seconded by Forsberg, that the Resolution be approved by the Commission. On a voice vote, the Chair declared the motion carried. 21-0089 Risk Limiting Audit of Ballots from the November 3, 2020 Presidential Election Approved City of Ann Arbor Page 1 Election Commission Meeting Minutes - Final January 14, 2021 Deputy Chief Jason Forsberg left the meeting at 9:52 a.m. Present: 2- Jacqueline Beaudry, and Matt Thomas Absent: 2- Stephen Postema, and Michael Cox 21-0089 Risk Limiting Audit of Ballots from the November 3, 2020 Presidential Election The City's participation commenced on the Risk Limiting Audit of the Statewide results for the office of President of the United States. Three teams pulled ballots and tallied votes according to the predetermined list of ballots to be recounted. The teams were: Team 1 - Steve Gerhart and Matt Thomas Team 2 - Chloe Hill and Keith Bradley-Hewitt Team 3 - Jennifer Alexa and Robert Mulcihy The pulling of ballots and reading of tallies was conducted via Zoom to allow public viewing of the count.
