Huron Street. ROLL CALL Matt Thomas was present representing the City Attorney. Deputy City Clerk Steve Gerhart was also in attendance. Present: 2- Jacqueline Beaudry, and Matt Thomas Absent: 2- Atleen Kaur, and Aimee Metzer APPROVAL OF AGENDA A motion was made by Thomas, seconded by Chair Beaudry, that the Agenda be approved as presented. On a voice vote, the Chair declared the motion carried. PUBLIC COMMENT None. APPROVAL OF MINUTES 22-1722 Election Commission Meeting Minutes of July 12, 2022 A motion was made that the Election Commission Meeting Minutes of July 12, 2022 be approved by the Commission with minor clerical corrections and forwarded to the City Council by 11/10/2022. On a voice vote, the Chair declared the motion carried. NEW BUSINESS 22-1723 Election Inspector Appointments for Pre-Processing of Absentee Ballots on Sunday, November 6 and Monday, November 7 A motion was made by Thomas, seconded by Chair Beaudry, that the list of Election Inspector Appointments for Pre-Processing be approved. On a voice vote, the Chair declared the motion carried. City of Ann Arbor Page 1 Election Commission Meeting Minutes - Final October 14, 2022 Update from City Attorney Regarding PA 195 of 2022 Assistant City Attorney Matt Thomas led a discussion with the Clerk's Office staff regarding the new law allowing expanded pre-processing of absentee ballots.
