I’d like to remind everyone that City offices are closed on Monday, February 19, in observance of President’s Day. Annapolis Transit will operate on a Sunday schedule while the state shuttle will run regular hours. The Pip Moyer Rec Center will operate on a regular schedule. Check the City website for other cancellations and closures. == Coming up tomorrow, and each Tuesday through the month of February, our State of Black Annapolis event at the Busch Library in honor of Black History Month. Each week highlights a different theme. Tomorrow, our panelists will discuss art; Feb. 20 - the future, and on Feb. 27. - Ald. Pindell Charles will join the program to honor black businesses with at least 50 years in operation. These events are free and open to the public. Alderwoman O'Neill moved to amend O-28-23 as follows: Amendment # 1: On page 3, in line 9, after "prohibited." insert " as of December 30, 2024". On page 4, in lines 2-3, strike " Subsection C(1) shall take effect six months after adoption, and all other sections of this ordinance, as amended," and in line 2 after "that" insert "this ordinance".
