Call To Order Chairman Paone called the meeting to order at 5:09 p.m. Roll Call Present: 3- Alderman Budge, Alderwoman Finlayson and Alderman Paone 2. Business before Committee a. Approval of Minutes ECM072015 Approval of Minutes for the Regular Meeting Attachments: July 20, 2015 Alderman Budge moved to approve. Seconded. CARRIED on voice vote. Appointments and reappointments to Committees AP-36-15 The Reappointment of Leonard Berman to the Alcohol Beverage Control Board Attachments: Appointment Letter/ Resume/ Bio Leonard Berman, 211 Sumner Road, Annapolis, Maryland 21401 spoke on behalf of his reappointment to the Alcohol Beverage Control Board and answered questions from the committee. Alderman Budge moved to recommend favorably. Seconded. CARRIED on voice vote. Aye: 3- Alderman Budge, Alderwoman Finlayson and Alderman Paone AP-37-15 The Reappointment of Lawrence Harris to the Alcohol Beverage Control Board Attachments: Appointment Letter/ Bio Lawrence Harris, 1999 Forest Drive, Annapolis, Maryland 21401 spoke on behalf of his reappointment to the Alcohol Beverage Control and answered questions from the committee. Alderwoman Finlayson moved to recommend favorably. Seconded. CARRIED on voice vote. Alderman Budge moved to recommend favorably. Seconded. CARRIED on voice vote. Aye: 3- Alderman Budge, Alderwoman Finlayson and Alderman Paone 3. Legislation before Committee R-21-15 Amending 2015 Dates of First Sundays Festivals - For the purpose of amending the dates on which the First Sundays Festivals are authorized to sell merchandise in the Historic District by adding the first Sunday in November and removing the first Sunday in December of year 2015. Aye: 3- Alderman Budge, Alderwoman Finlayson and Alderman Paone O-33-15 Water Service Agreement - Hopkins property - For the purpose of authorizing a water service agreement providing for the extension of City water service to certain property located in Anne Arundel County, outside of the boundaries of the City of Annapolis; and matters generally relating to said agreement. Assistant City Attorney Elson also participated in the discussion and answered questions from the committee. Alderwoman Finlayson moved to recommend favorably. Seconded. CARRIED on voice vote. Aye: 3- Alderman Budge, Alderwoman Finlayson and Alderman Paone R-22-15 Street Rights-of-Way at the Enclave at Spa - For the purpose of privatizing the street rights-of-way in the Enclave at Spa residential planned development in accordance with Section 20.20.01.A of the Code of the City of Annapolis.
