the committee.

questions from the committee. City Manager Andrews was also present, spoke on
tracking program performance and answered questions from the committee.

GA-1-17 FY 17 Maryland Safe Streets

Captain Amoia gave an overview of the grant and spoke on the grant usage for the
Crime Analyst Coordinator & Community Prosecutor positions, CCTV Projects and
answered questions from the committee.

GA-4-17 FY2015 Staffing for Adequate Fire and Emergency Response
(SAFER) Grant

Fire Chief Stokes, Deputy Fire Chief Simmons, Deputy Fire Chief Remaley and
Union President Spriggs gave a joint presentation on the grant and spoke on the
SAEFER grant funding, staffing levels, the (DROP) deferred Option Retirement
Program and answered questions from the committee. City Manager Andrews was
present spoke on the grant and answered questions from the committee. Albert

Kirchner, President representing the Eastport Volunteer Fire Department was also
present spoke on the grant and answered questions from the committee.

said lease.
