Chambers, Jr. City Council Chambers Finance Committee Finance Committee Standing Committee Meeting July 6, 2022 Minutes Call To Order Chairwoman Tierney called the meeting to order at 10:34 a.m. Roll Call Present: 3- Alderwoman Tierney, Alderwoman O'Neill and Alderwoman Finlayson Approval of Agenda (any changes to the agenda should be made here) Alderwoman Finlayson moved to adopt the Regular Meeting Agenda. Seconded. The motion carried by the following vote: Aye: 3- Alderwoman Tierney, Alderwoman O'Neill and Alderwoman Finlayson 1. Business and Miscellaneous Approval of Minutes FC06.01.22 Approval of Minutes for the Regular Meeting Attachments: FC06.01.22 Alderwoman O'Neill moved to approve the Minutes for the Regular Meeting. Seconded. A roll call vote was taken. The motion CARRIED by the following vote: Aye: 3- Alderwoman Tierney, Alderwoman O'Neill and Alderwoman Finlayson 2. Legislation Ordinances O-37-22 Arts in Public Places - Arts Fund Appropriation by Council - For the purpose of clarifying City of Annapolis arts funding Attachments: O-37-22 First Reader O-37-22 Staff Report O-37-22 Fiscal Note O-37-22 Signed Finance Director Dickinson was present and answered questions from the committee. Alderwoman Finlayson moved to recommend favorably O-37-22. Seconded. A roll call vote was taken. General Discussion City of Annapolis Page 2 Finance Committee Standing Committee Meeting July 6, 2022 Minutes Update from the Finance Director, Jodee Dickinson Police Acting Captain Lt. Miguez was present and addressed the committee. Finance Director Dickinson was present and provided updates on the following: Selection of FY22 Auditors, FY22 close out and opening of FY23, P3 Concession Agreement, Senior bond issue, Employees pay scale, vacant positions, ARPA reporting deadline, and the Bond Ordinance.
