Expense (FY22 EMPG) $575.00
Explanation: This supplemental allocation appropriates an additional $575.00 to the
2022 Emergency Management Performance Grant. The grant amount included in the
FY2023 Adopted Budget was $85,000. The EMPG program provides resources to local
government emergency management agencies, an all-hazards approach to
emergency response, including the development of a comprehensive program of
planning, training, and exercises, as well as staffing/EOC upgrades. This grant
program requires a 100% local match which is obtained through the Office of
Emergency Management personnel salary.
