Annapolis

John Dillon, 326 First Street, Suite 200, Annapolis, Maryland 21403 was present and
addressed the committee regarding his appointment the Housing Authority City of
Annapolis Board and answered questions from the committee.
Alderman Littmann moved to recommend favorably. Seconded. CARRIED on
voice vote.

3. Legislation before Committee
O-41-16 Compostable Food Waste - For the purpose of amending the Annapolis
City Code definition of “Solid Waste” to exclude compostable food waste;
to exempt collectors of compostable food waste from having to obtain a
solid waste permit and pay the associated fee; and matters generally
relating to the collection of compostable food waste.

Chief of Community Development Wellman gave an overview of the discussion topic and
spoke on the Annual Performance and Evaluation Report, consolidated plan, family self
sufficiency program, the Ross Grant and answered questions from the committee.
