Call To Order Chairwoman Finlayson called the meeting to order at 5:10 p.m. Roll Call Present: 3- Alderman Paone, Alderwoman Finlayson and Alderwoman Pindell Charles 2. Business before Committee Approval of Minutes PSC061515 Approval of Minutes for the Regular Meeting Attachments: June 15, 2015 Alderman Paone moved to approve. Seconded. CARRIED on voice vote. Aye: 3- Alderman Paone, Alderwoman Finlayson and Alderwoman Pindell Charles 3. General Discussion ID-358-15 APD- General Crime Discussion Police Chief Pristoop gave a presentation on the discussion topic and answered from the committee. This Informational Item was presented ID-359-15 APD- Church Safety Police Chief Pristoop gave a presentation on the discussion topic and answered questions from the committee. This Informational Item was presented ID-370-15 Status of 2015 Budget and outlook on 2016 Police Chief Pristoop and a brief overview of the the discussion topic and answered questions from the committee. This Informational Item was presented ID-349-15 Fire Department- Final Status of FY15 Budget Fire Chief Stokes gave a presentation on the discussion topic and answered questions from the committee. This Informational Item was presented ID-338-15 OEM-Parade Events and Emergency Preparedness Deputy Fire Chief Simmons gave a presentation on the discussion topic. This Informational Item was presented ID-350-15 OEM- Hazardous Mitigation Assistance Grants (OEM, P&Z, PW) Deputy Chief Simmons gave a brief overview of the discussion topic. Deputy Director Mandell Office of Emergency Management and Civil Engineer Brice Department of Public Works presented on the topic and answered questions from the committee. This Informational Item was presented 4. Legislation before Committee R-33-14 Vehicular Access to and Internal Roadways within Certain Property adjacent to Aris T. Allen Boulevard - For the purpose of empowering the City of Annapolis to consider, and to potentially allow, vehicular access between Aris T. Allen Boulevard/Maryland 665 and certain adjacent property within the City limits as well as private roadways within said adjacent property. This Informational Item was presented ID-352-15 OEM-HACA Incident on June 26th- Vince Leggett Deputy Chief Simmons gave a brief overview on the discussion topic. Vincent Leggett, Executive Director, Shawn Griffin, Director of Operations, and Jeffrey Henderson, Chair of Commissioners representing the Housing Authority City of Annapolis 1217 Madison Street, Annapolis, Maryland 21403 spoke on the topic of discussion and answered questions from the committee.
