Call To Order Chairwoman Pindell Charles called the meeting to order at 6:10 p.m. 2. Roll Call Present: 3- Alderwoman Pindell Charles, Alderman Paone and Alderwoman Henson 3. Business before Committee a. Approval of Minutes PSC121817 Approval of Minutes for the Regular Meeting Alderwoman Henson moved to Public Hearing Held. Seconded. A roll call vote was taken. The motion CARRIED by the following vote: Aye: 3- Alderwoman Pindell Charles, Alderman Paone and Alderwoman Henson b. ID-16-18 2018 Annual Goals and Safe Station Update Fire Chief Stokes was present and answered questions from the committee. Chairwoman Pindell Charles suggested that Fire Chief Stokes review the ADA Guidelines with William Rowel. Would like to modify section 17 of the City code (re: vacant structures). c. ID-28-18 Update: Status of the Hazard Mitigation Plan after City Council Resolution 2-18 Deputy Director of Office of Emergency Management Mandel and Office of Emergency Management Exercise Coordinator Thomas were present and gave a brief update on the Hazard Mitigation Plan. d. ID-29-18 Outreach Projects: Holiday Walking Tour, Character Counts, Joint Media Projects with the Fire Marshall’s Office Police Chief Baker was present and gave a brief update on the D.AR.E program. Chairwoman Pindell Charles will be asking for quarterly reports from the Fire and Police departments. 4. Adjournment Upon motion duly made, seconded and adopted, the meeting was adjourned at 7:04 PM.
