Minutes
1. Call To Order
Chairwoman Pindell Charles called the meeting to order at 4:20 p.m.
2. Roll Call
Present: 2- Alderwoman Pindell Charles and Alderman Paone
Absent: 1- Alderman Gay
3. Approval of Agenda (any changes to the agenda should be made here)
Alderman Paone moved to adopt the Regular Meeting Agenda. Seconded. A roll
call vote was taken. The motion CARRIED by the following vote:
Aye: 2- Alderwoman Pindell Charles and Alderman Paone
Absent: 1- Alderman Gay
4. Business before Committee
a. Approval of Minutes
PSC01.06.2 Approval of Minutes for the Regular Meeting

Alderman Paone moved to approve. Seconded. A roll call vote was taken. The
motion CARRIED by the following vote:
Aye: 2- Alderwoman Pindell Charles and Alderman Paone
Absent: 1- Alderman Gay
b. "Public Safety: Spotlight! Did You Know? Written Reports and Comments, Year to
Date Overdose Summary."
Office of Emergency Management Department Deputy Chief Mandell was
present and answered questions from the committee.
Police Chief Jackson, Police Major/Deputy Chief Herman, and Police Consultant
Branford
Chairwoman Pindell Charles would like the Crime Analyst to attend next month's
meeting.
Office of Emergency Management Deputy Director Mandell was present and
provided the committee with a report.
Fire Chief Remaley, Deputy Fire Chief Spriggs, and Fire Deputy Muhitch were
present and provided a presentation to the committee.

5. Legislation before Committee
O-7-20 Designated Loading Zones - For the purpose of authorizing designated loading
zones in the City of Annapolis; creating certain definitions; and generally related to
designated loading zones.
Transportation Director Gordon was present and answered questions from the
committee.
Alderman Paone moved to recommend favorably. Seconded. A roll call vote
was taken. The motion CARRIED by the following vote:
Aye: 2- Alderwoman Pindell Charles and Alderman Paone
Absent: 1- Alderman Gay
6. Adjournment
Upon motion duly made, seconded and adopted, the meeting was adjourned at
5:50 p.m.
