Call To Order
Interim Chairwoman Pindell Charles called the meeting to order at 4:05 p.m.
Roll Call
Present: 3- Alderman Gay, Alderwoman Pindell Charles and Alderwoman O'Neill
Approval of Agenda (any changes to the agenda should be made here)
Alderwoman O'Neill moved to adopt the Special Meeting Agenda. Seconded.
The motion carried by the following vote:
Aye: 3- Alderman Gay, Alderwoman Pindell Charles and Alderwoman O'Neill

Election of Chairman Pursuant to City Code Section 2.16.120
Alderwoman O'Neill moved to approve the nomination of Alderwoman
Pindell Charles to serve as the Chairman of the Public Safety Committee
from Monday, January 24, 2022 thru Tuesday, January 24, 2023. Seconded.
The motion carried by the following vote:
Aye: 3- Alderman Gay, Alderwoman Pindell Charles and Alderwoman O'Neill

ID-9-22 Fire Department Presentation: Chief Remaley

Chief Remaley requested a Moment of Silence for the 3 fallen firefighters, their
"brothers and sisters" in Baltimore City this past week who eventually sustained
fatal injuries.
Fire Chief Remaley, Deputy Fire Chief Spriggs, and Assistant City Attorney
Berger were present and answered questions from the committee.
Alderwoman Tierney was present and addressed the committee.
Adjournment
Upon motion duly made, seconded and adopted, the meeting was adjourned at
5:59 p.m.
