The meeting was called to order at 1:00 p.m. by Mayor Pro Tem, Erik Skogquist. Present: Mayor Pro Tem Skogquist, Councilmembers: Barnett and Wesp. Absent: Mayor Rice and Councilmember Freeburg. Staff: Assistant City Manager Amy Oehlers. 3.1 Canvass of August 11, 2020 Municipal Primary Election Results. RESOLUTION NO. 2020-04-A This special meeting was held for the purpose of canvassing election returns of the Tuesday, August 11, 2020 Municipal Primary Election, pursuant to Section 4.08 of the Anoka City Charter. Assistant City Manager, Amy Oehlers reviewed the City election returns from the eight precincts for the Mayoral position. Ms. Oehlers presented a summary of the results. Vote taken: All ayes. Ms. Oehlers provided the Council with additional election statistics, results, ballot sample, etc., regarding elections for the City of Anoka. This was provided for informational purposes only. ADJOURNMENT There being no further business to come before the Anoka City Council at this Special Meeting, Councilmember Barnett made a motion to adjourn the meeting, Councilmember Wesp seconded the motion.
