CALL TO ORDER B. ROLL CALL C. AGENDA ITEMS 1. 16-164 Presentation and discussion on the Request for Qualifications (RFQ) for the Operation of a Local Visitor Information Center. Staff will discuss the proposals, opened on March 23, 2016, for the operation of a local visitors center. Two proposals were received and staff will be prepared to present a summary of the review committee's findings. 2. 16-165 Presentation and discussion of Proposed Resolution No. 16-17, authorizing the submission of Fiscal Year 2016 Community Development Block Grant and Fiscal Year 2016 State Special Project grant applications and Resolution No. 16-18, establishing a Residential Antidisplacement and Relocation Assistance Plan. 3. 16-170 Presentation on proposed Resolution No. 16-13, authorizing the city to enter into an Intergovernmental Agreement with the Arizona Department of Transportation for Highway Safety Improvement Program Grant Money. The project location is on Southern Avenue from Ironwood Drive to Delaware Drive to include sidewalk, curb and gutter, and pavement widening. 4. 16-172 Presentation on proposed Resolution No. 16-14, authorizing the city to enter into an Intergovernmental Agreement with the Arizona Department of Transportation for Highway Safety Improvement Program Grant Money. The project location is on Delaware Drive from Apache Trail to Superstition Boulevard to include drainage improvements, sidewalk, and curb and gutter. 5. 16-167 Presentation and discussion on Fiscal Year 2016-2017 Street Maintenance Plan. Staff will present information on plans for next fiscal year’s street maintenance projects. This work is in partial fulfillment of fiscal year’s 2016-2017 Street Maintenance Plan and funded through the streets .2% sales tax. The work would be through the City of Buckeye cooperative contract #2014-007 for $162,074.71 with a ten percent contingency of $16,207.00 for a total not to exceed the amount of $178,281.71. 7. 16-168 Presentation and discussion on proposed Resolution No. 16-19, allowing the city to enter into an Intergovernmental Agreement for transfer of used law enforcement vehicles and miscellaneous equipment to the Town of Superior. 8. 16-147 Presentation and discussion on proposed Resolution No. 16-15, allowing the City of Apache Junction Police Department to submit grant applications to the Governor's Office of Highway Safety.
