CORRESPONDENCE/INFORMATION: Macomb County Department of Roads – 2023 Limestone Program: The Township is to decide which three miles of Limestone to apply to which roads no later than April 3, 2023. It was discussed that Florence and Irwin Road to the west side does not receive limestone as the county will not back up the trucks to apply. Supervisor Paterek will contact the Department of Roads for a possible solution. Armada Historical Society: Is looking for donations to purchase a State of Michigan Historical Marker to detail our area’s history. They have collected $3,179.09 so far. They are hoping to raise the remaining $2,300 in this year in order to have a dedication installation ceremony in the spring of 2023. All Ayes Motion CARRIED Small Scale Entertainment: Motion by Swiacki seconded by Murray to adopt Ordinance #114-40 an ordinance to amend Section 20.02: Definitions, to update the definition of Small-Scale Entertainment, and to Section 8.01(B): Uses permitted in the Agri- Business District, to provide minimum site requirements, and to repeal any and all Ordinances and/or Resolutions in conflict therewith. Accessory Building to One-Family Residential Uses: Motion by Swiacki seconded by Murray to adopt Ordinance #114-41 an Ordinance to amend Section 2.03: Accessory Buildings to One-Family Residential Uses, to clarify the maximum allowable size of attached garages, and to repeal any and all Ordinances and/or Resolutions in conflict therewith.
