ASHLAND CITY COUNCIL REGULAR MEETING AGENDA July 16, 2026 NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a Regular Meeting of the Ashland City Council will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 16, 2026 at City Hall, 2304 Silver Street, Ashland, Nebraska. Said meeting is open and the public is encouraged to attend. The City Council reserves the right to adjourn to Executive Session per State Statute 84-1410. Amended Agenda A. Special Presentations 1. ____ Presentation of Proclamation to Brad and Shelly Pfeiffer for Long-Standing Involvement in Community Activities C. Public Comment 1. ____ Public comments may be heard from individuals present. Public comment is limited to three minutes per individual. (No action will be taken on these topics as no comments will be made by the Council.) D. Public Hearings 1.____ Conditional Use Permit #26-092 for wall sign and pendent signs installed on the fence and hung from awning. The property is located at 1342 Silver Street and 111 N 14th Street, Ashland NE. 2. ____ Permit #26-093 Ord 1261 to change Future Land Use Map and the Official Zoning Map of the Ashland Comprehensive Plan from TA Transitional Ag to RE Residential Estate. Property being in Section 12-12-9 SE SW Parcel #003224000. 3. ____ Required stacking may be reduced by approval of the City Council following site plan review by the Planning Commission. Site plan review must demonstrate that circulation and loading patterns accommodate adequate space for queuing and temporary parking by users during peak hours of operation.
