NOTICE OF BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT MEETING The Board of Zoning Adjustment for the City of Athens, Alabama, will hold a work session at 5:00 p.m., followed by their regular meeting at 5:30 p.m., in the City Council Chambers at City Hall, at 200 W. Hobbs Street, on Thursday, July 21, 2016, for the purpose of hearing the following applications and appeals. At this time, the applicant and all interested parties are requested to be present and will be given the opportunity to be heard. MINUTES: Approval of Minutes from June 16, 2016. Case #1 Request of Kenneth Mabe for a variance to the Zoning Ordinance to reduce a required side yard setback from 50 ft to 10 ft on property located at 18926 Edgewood Road in order to allow for a proposed shed to be built closer to the property boundary.
