NOTICE OF BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT MEETING The Board of Zoning Adjustment for the City of Athens, Alabama, will hold a work session at 5:00 p.m., followed by the regular meeting at 5:30 p.m., in the City Council Chambers at City Hall, at 200 W. Hobbs Street, on Thursday, September 20, 2018, for the purpose of hearing the following applications and appeals. At this time, the applicant and all interested parties are requested to be present and will be given the opportunity to be heard. Approval of Minutes Case #1 Request of Leonel Alvarado for a Special Exception to permit a church with a 252 seat sanctuary which is classified as a medium-intensity institutional use, located on the south side of Sanderfer Road approximately 350 feet west of Hines Street, in a B-1 Neighborhood Business District. Case #2 Request of Andrew Gibson for a Variance to decrease the side setback of an accessory structure by 15 feet, located at 409 West Pryor Street in an HN, Historical Neighborhood District.
