NOTICE OF BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT MEETING The Board of Zoning Adjustment for the City of Athens, Alabama, will hold a work session at 5:00 p.m., followed by the regular meeting at 5:30 p.m., in the City Council Chambers at City Hall, at 200 W. Hobbs Street, on Thursday, July 18, 2019, for the purpose of hearing the following applications and appeals. Approval of Minutes Case #1 Request of Al Bush for a Variance to allow parking within 20’ of Right-of-way on a Major Arterial Roadway for a non-residential use, located at 1108 HWY 31 South, in a B-2 General Business District. Case #2 Request of Gregg Crow for a Variance to reduce a building setback from 20’ to 5’ (a reduction of 15’), located at 614 HWY 31, in a B-2, General Business District. Case #3 Request of K. D. Inc. to replace detached sign with a sign with having LED price sign (Electronic Reader Board) elements, located at 1606 Market Street West zoned B-1 Neighborhood Business District. Case #4 Request of Winter Homes, LLC. for a variance to reduce the rear yard setback from 40’ to 32’ (a reduction of 8’), located at 17273 Stella Street, in an R-1-1 Single Family Low Density Residential District.
