NOTICE OF BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT MEETING The Board of Zoning Adjustment for the City of Athens, Alabama, will hold a work session at 5:00 p.m., followed by the regular meeting at 5:30 p.m., in the City Council Chambers at City Hall, at 200 W. Hobbs Street, on Thursday, March 19, 2020, for the purpose of hearing the following applications and appeals. At this time, the applicant and all interested parties are requested to be present and will be given the opportunity to be heard. Approval of Minutes Case #1 Request of Richard Enos for a variance to to Section 3.9.1.A.6.m of the City of Athens Zoning Ordinance, to allow for the size of a commercial trailer associated with a proposed home occupation to be 8 feet in height, exceeding the required 7 foot height restriction, located at 304 Buckeye Street, in an R-1-1 Single Family Low Density Residential District. Case #2 Request of Edward Rose Millennial Development, LLC for a variance to Section 6.6.5.A(3)of the City of Athens Zoning Ordinance, to allow for private streets to be built to a variation of the City Street Standard, located directly north of Brookhill Elementary School, in an R-2 Multi-Family Residential District.
