Approval of Minutes – July 15, 2021 Case #1 Request of Buc-ee’s at the SE corner of I-65 & Huntsville Browns Ferry RD, regarding a Variance request specifically the “Reduction of Landscaping/Buffering/Lighting” the request is the color temperature for exterior lighting variance from 3000 K to 5000 K. Zoned B2 – General Business District. Case #2 Request of Chick-fil-A at 1291 US HWY 72 E, Athens, AL 35611, regarding a Variance request of a “Accessory Building Setback”, “Required Parking Spaces”, and “Reduction Landscaping/Buffering/Lighting”, the request to allow for 27 onsite parking plus 66 required parking spaces per the application, 20 offsite; reduction of W buffer to 0’ to allow for sidewalk connection to offsite parking and reduction to 5’ for the dumpster enclosure. Zoned B2 – General Business District. Case #3 Request of Michael Ross Sr. (Pastor) at 823 Brownsferry Street (Trinity SDA Church), Athens AL 35611, regarding a Variance request of a “Type of Sign”, to upgrade the existing sign to a more moderate 21st century digital sign.
