Chair s Report
– The three ACAC members whose terms are set to expire at the end of March 2022
(Donna, Montu, and Darcie) have agreed to serve another term if
reappointed. One membership position is vacant at this time.
– Andrew opened discussion about the opportunity to expend a portion of the current
Capital Funds budget. Capital Funds can be used to fund installations of a
permanent nature. Possibilities discussed included additional murals, bike
racks, establishing a sculpture park, and “text-based displays of local
poetry, lyrics, and other writings. The Chair appointed Mickey and Serena to
establish a Bike Rack task force to begin mapping out infrastructure and
plans for locating bike racks throughout the County. The Strategy Team will
continue to explore plans for the Capital Funds and will offer suggestions at
the next monthly ACAC meeting.
