Athens in Motion Data and Grants Committee Meeting Date: April 20, 2021 In attendance for AiM: Mark Ebell, Lauren Blais, Theresa Friedlander, Jake Maas In attendance for ACC: Stephen Bailey, Daniel Sizemore, Alex Bond 1. Meeting was called to order at 3:05 pm 2. The America Walks Grant Proposal was discussed, with a range of locations debated for a mid‐block crossing with RRFB. The location on Old Oak street was selected for the following primary reasons:  There is evidence from the community in the form of an informal path that access to the Firefly Trail would be desirable.  Current crossing is unsafe given sight lines and volume of traffic  It would serve a neighborhood that has been historically underinvested in 3. Daniel then discussed a new initiative he is working on to create a data repository with regards to pedestrian and bicycle infrastructure for the county, including detailed information on streets, crosswalks, sidewalks, sharrows, and much more. We are looking forward to seeing this when it has been finalized 4. Meeting adjourned at 3:59 pm
