Aaron motioned, Mark seconded. Minutes approved. 5. Annual Report (2:44) a. Lauren reviewed our annual report. b. Open discussion for additions or modifications. c. Aaron motioned to accept report. Randy seconded. Annual report approved. 6. Budget Expenditures (21:38) a. Amy Cheek, Social Media Specialist (PR) b. Tool Design proposal for branding/marketing and strategy/communications  c. Total $11,400 d. Lauren motioned to authorize up to $11,400 as proposed for marketing and communications. Aaron seconded. Proposal approved. 7. Staff Updates (34:32) a. Cemetery/Greenway trail making progress on laying concrete, working towards bridge. b. Firefly Trail Bridge over trail creek progressing, steel arches will be installed next month. c. Working on easements for Firefly trail Phase 3, awaiting TSPLOST funding 8. Park Planning (00:00) 9. Bike/PED Coordinator (36:50) a. Mitchell Bridge/Timothy Rd MUP gone to concept development b. Road safety audit – 1st & 3rd St intersection. Vine & Mulberry St. c. RAISE grant project has been submitted (North Ave project) d. Vincent Dr sidewalk project – could develop into a MUP e. Vison Zero staff request has been submitted f. Grant completed for bike/pedestrian access across Tallassee Rd bridge g. Working on parklet program, specifically conflicts between bike lanes and parklet (ex. in front of the National) h. Repaving project – Special Called Session – Wednesday, February 2nd (4pm-5:30pm) i. W. Broad roundabout – to include MUP. Need public input j. How are exceptions made on roadways? (UGA President’s space) during design 10. Corridor committees (1:46:12) a. Atlanta Hwy Corridor – not meeting this month. Street sign concreted over on W. Broad. b. Prince Ave Corridor – staff present to M & C. Awaiting decision c. Lexington Rd Corridor – no meeting yet this year. Surveying has begun 11. AIMC Committees (1:48:31) a. UGA – No updates b. Grants and Data – no update on the “Blinky/Flashy” c. Policy and Projects – Complete Streets policy will be presented to M & C. Reviewing bike ordinances around other college towns d. Education and Communication – No updates e. East Athens – no updates f. TSPLOST 2023 – M & C are working on the final list g. Greenway – new trail is not complete 12. Adjournment a. Meeting adjourned at 6:05 pm. b.
