Complete Streets Update Presentation (39:31) a. Lauren reviewed the presentation with AiM Commission b. Meeting with Blaine Williams to discuss 7. Vision Zero letter (58:06) a. Review and discussion of letter initially drafted by Teresa Friedlander b. Lauren motioned that AiM accept the letter and send it off as an official communication from the Athen in Motion Commission. Aaron seconded. 8. Park Planning (1:13:40) a. Steel for trestle any day on park side, the Poplar side in May, timber up in July b. Oak/Oconee St bridge out to bid in Oct 2022  c. Firefly 3 working on easements, goal set for end of year d. Firefly Trail Phase 2 – agenda item for parking at Streets & Drainage (nights and weekends) crossing that will tie into TPW parking lot progressing forward e. Cemetery trail East Campus to bridge piece 90% Easley Mill toward bridge 65% complete f. Carr’s Creek Greenway segment – environmental permits, geotech for foundations 9. Bike/PED Coordinator (1:18:06) a. RAISE Grant update – no planning grants, just capital. Confident North Ave project will be approved. b. Gridsmart – cameras that count vehicles and track speed. Can identify bicycle or pedestrian in crosswalk to extend traffic stop. First installed at Lumpkin/Baxter c. Streetlight Data – pulls cellular data, deals with mobility and transit patterns d. Reviewed sliding window analysis for intersection occurrences 10. AIMC Committees (1:49:09) a. UGA – no updates b. Grants and Data – AARP grant submitted to install benches along Greenway c. Policy and Projects – Complete Streets presentation needs visuals, finished reviewing finalizing bike ordinances proposal…. d. Education and Communication – tabling at Greenlife Expo on April 22nd e. Greenway – no updates 11. Corridor committees (1:52:00) a. Atlanta Hwy Corridor – no updates b. Lexington Rd Corridor – user group working to develop guideline for county to issue to developers c.
