Aaron, Teresa, and Randy are due – how to proceed/option to renew? 6. Complete Streets Update (10:59) a. Next steps – placed on an agenda and voted on in June b. 7. Greenlife Expo report back (14:32) a. Smaller crowd than last event, but overall positive feedback. Connected TSPLOST and Athens in Motion with many citizens. Also discussed Vision Zero. b. Discussed obtaining tabling materials for future events. 8. Park Planning (28:05) a. Steel being erected on Firefly Trail bridge, still on schedule – completion next Winter b. Cemetery trail bridge being removed, trail will run beneath – completion set for Fall c. Carr’s Creek Greenway extension – working on design 9. Bike/PED Coordinator (33:15) a. RAISE Grant 2022 update – submitted with a 2.23 benefit to cost ratio, submit planning grants in the future b. Notice Of Funding Opportunity – SS4A grant program (Safe Streets 4 All), DCA downtown revitalization grant c. GOC meeting – parklet ordinance discussion, main concerns revolve around having parklets that intersect with bike lanes d. West Broad Roundabout – public input open through May 11th, stakeholder meeting was set to discuss design/impact e. Tallassee Rd bridge over CSX bike and pedestrian access GTIB grant – awarded $750,000 f. Pavement maintenance project update – 2 bids received, both out of our budget, re- starting process 10. Communications Logo survey (1:28:14) a. Randy presented the results of the Logo survey b. Daniel suggested to revise the logo on the communications/strategy committee level c. Teresa motioned to remove the logo from the scope of the Toole contract. Mark seconded. Motion passed. 11. Corridor committees (1:55:00) a. Atlanta Hwy Corridor – two walking surveys of Mitchell Bridge & Timothy Rd, awaiting recommendations/feedback b. Lexington Rd Corridor – developing public input session c.
