Lauren seconded. Minutes approved. 5. Approval of Minutes (June special called session) a. James motioned. Randy seconded. Minutes approved. 6. Housekeeping a. Commissioner renewal – applications are open b. Greenway Commissioner – Carly Evans resigned as Greenway Commissioner c. In person meetings will resume in August. Additional information on live streaming meetings d. Future BAC orientation - Do we also want to have an orientation for AiMC? Yes e. Final AiMC budget – update - $1,300 surplus, rolled back into capital budget 7. Chair Notes (22:43) a. TSPLOST 2023 passed b. Complete Streets Policy passed c. Vision Zero Coordinator position passed 8. Work Plan (25:30) a. Lauren motioned to approve AiMC work plan. Mark motioned. Aaron seconded. Motion passed. 9. Prince Avenue Pilot Project (36:29) a. Pulaski to Barber St - b. AiMC communications i. Have education and communications committee review. Discuss at July meeting 10. Logos (44:47) a. 2nd round voting b. Reviewed survey results. Settled on three logos to move to next round 11. Safe Routes to School (48:49) a. Engagements with CCSD – send to committee? i. James suggested to have CCSD establish a committee to review and improve Safe Routes to School program 12. Send to Committee (59:34) a. Uniform pavement on trails designating bicycle/pedestrian lanes b. Lighting on Greenway – is dawn to dusk adequate for a major transportation route? What effect does lighting have on wildlife? Can ACC & UGA partner to create a plan for areas that border? 13. Park Planning (1:24:35) a. Bridge project is idle, waiting on steel b. Cemetery back filling the wall under the bridge c. Carr’s Creek connector will be ready for permit plans d. April 2023 Oak St bridge project goes to bid 14. Bike/PED Coordinator (1:33:05) a. Vision Coordinator position passed – working on getting position posted b. Vision Zero Resolution – has been written (Lauren, Teresa, Autumn) c. Projects: i. Cherokee Road has 85 percent construction plans - M&C voted for design only for now, so plans are on hold until funding is identified. ii. Barber Street needs an AiMC special called session for July. Daniel will also give an outline of the process for this project moving forward iii. Oglethorpe/Hawthorne bike lanes - October/November M&C cycle iv. Tallassee bridge construction has started (CSX RR) v. Technical Standards for Bike Lanes and Multi-Use Paths are being updated vi. Bike Friendly Community - New criteria and standards - need help with data collection vii. StreetLight Data – working on obtaining data d. Other updates e. Communications Plan – Teresa motioned to accept communications plan. Lauren seconded. Motion approved. 15. Corridor committees (1:51:27) a. Atlanta Hwy Corridor – making progress on Atl Hwy & Timothy Rd/Mitchell Bridge b. Lexington Rd Corridor – public engagement survey closed on Sunday c. Prince Ave Corridor – pilot project as discussed earlier 16. AIMC Committees (1:52:11) a. Grants and Data – i. TA Grant for North Oconee River Park Greenway – submitted ii. Local Road Safety Plan Pilot – ongoing iii. Safe Streets for All Grant – in application development status iv. Reconnecting Communities Pilot Program – awaiting word on deadlines v. Bridge Improvement Grant – assisting with bike/pedestrian consideration b. Data Projects – i. Sidewalk data collection ii. Sidewalk gaps data collection iii. Bike centerline data iv. AiM dataset work v. Safety Analyses c. Policy and Projects – i. Ordinance Revisions – discovered four revisions needed ii. Meeting Thursday, July, 21st, 2022. d. Education and Communication – Logos & Communications i. Communications Final Plan - discuss and vote - what do we want to use from it? ii. Teresa motioned to accept communications plan. Lauren seconded. Motion approved. iii. Meeting July 12th, 2022. 17. Other Committees (2:03:32) a. UGA – no updates b. Greenway – no updates c. TSLPOST 2018 – no updates d.
