UNAPPROVED Athens-Clarke County Emergency Meeting June 15, 2020 2555 Lexington Road Athens GA 30605 3:30 PM The special called meeting of the Athens-Clarke County Board of Elections was held on Monday, June 15, 2020. Jesse Evans, Chairperson, called the meeting to order at 3:33pm. Board Members present: Charles Knapper, Vice Chairperson; Patricia Till, Board Member; Willa Fambrough, Secretary; Rocky Raffle, Board Member. Board Members absent: NONE Others Present: Charlotte Sosebee, Director; Deborah Lonon, ACCGU Asst. City Manager; Judd Drake, AACGU; Sherrie Hines, AACGU Attorney, Pamela Long, Elections Assistant; Lisa McGlaun, Elections Assistant; Aletha Perkins, Recording Clerk A. Adopt Agenda Motion made by Ms. Fambrough to adopt the agenda. Motion was 2nd by Mr. Raffle. Motion passed unanimously. B. Public Comment-5 K. Galbree, Athens GA R. Roberts-Galbree, Athens GA T.Reed, Athens GA J. Draper, Athens GA A. Shirley, Athens GA The emergency meeting was called to discuss the possibility that Dominion Scanner & Software did not Count all votes marked on absentee ballots. (3:00) Motion made by Mr. Knapper to follow the recommendation of the Director of Board of Elections, Charlotte Sosebee and City Attorney, Judd Drake to complete a recount of the Absentee Ballots cast for the Clarke County School District Board of Elections District 2 in accordance with Georgia law. The motion was 2nd by Ms. Till. Motion passed unanimously. (3:05) Motion made by Ms. Till to nominate Mr. Knapper to serve as the Vote Review panel representative for the recount of the Absentee Ballots cast for the Clarke County School District Board of Elections District 2 in accordance with Georgia law. Motion passed 4:1. Ms. Fambrough voted no. C. Announcements 1.
