The special called meeting of the Athens-Clarke County Board of Elections was held on Tuesday, June 16,
2020.
Jesse Evans, Chairperson, called the meeting to order at 1:09 PM.
Board Members present: Charles Knapper, Vice Chairperson; Patricia Till, Board Member; Willa
Fambrough, Secretary; Rocky Raffle, Board Member.
Board Members absent: NONE
Others Present: Charlotte Sosebee, Director; Judd Drake, ACC City Attorney; Doug Sowell, Attorney,
Deborah Lonon, ACC Asst. City Manager; Pamela Long, Elections Assistant; Lisa McGlaun, Elections
Assistant; Aletha Perkins, Recording Clerk
A. Adopt Agenda
Motion made by Ms. Fambrough to adopt the agenda adding the discussion of a recent email
received by a state candidate requesting a recount of all absentee and provisional ballots.
Motion 2nd by Ms. Till. Motion passed unanimously. Motion to be added after public comment.
Motion made by Ms. Fambrough to move into executive session. Motion 2nd by Mr. Knapper.
Motion passed unanimously.
Motion made by Ms. Fambrough for the chairperson to sign an affidavit regarding the ongoing
litigation. Motion 2nd by Mr. Raffle. Motion passed unanimously.
B. Public Comment-1
The Board was presented 40 provisional ballots. The Board approved 22 and rejected 18 Ballots.

BOARD OF ELECTIONS & VOTER REGISTRATION
On June 16, 2020, the Athens-Clarke County Board of Elections & Voter Registration will
conduct a Special Called Meeting & Executive Session beginning at 1:00 pm. The meeting will
be held at the Landscape & Facilities Management, 2555 Lexington Road, Athens, Georgia
30605 and will be held virtually for public viewing.
