In attendance were Rocky Raffle, Chair; Ann Till, Vice Chair; Adam Shirley, Secretary; Willa Fambrough, Member; and Hank Qadir, Member. Others in attendance were Charlotte Sosebee, Elections Supervisor; Lisa McGlaun, Elections Assistant; Pamela Long, Elections Assistant; Audra Taylor, Elections Assistant; Aletha Perkins; Niki Jones, Assistant County Manager; Joseph D’Angelo, Athens-Clarke County Geospatial Information Office; Mary Martin, GIS Coordinator, Geospatial Information Office; and Lisa Pappas, Assistant County Attorney. A. The Board Member Oath of Office was read by Mr. Shirley. (O.C.G.A. § 21-2-70). B. MOTION by Ms. Till to adopt the agenda amended to include New Business #6. Seconded by Mr. Shirley. Friendly amendment offered by Mr. Shirley and accepted by Ms. Till. C. MOTION by Ms. Till to approve the minutes from the March 8, 2022, regular meeting. Seconded by Mr. Qadir. Approved unanimously. D. There was no public comment. E. Director Sosebee gave the Director’s Report. F. Old Business MOTION by Ms. Till to amend FY23 budget request to include, in addition to recommendations previously approved by the board, board members to be paid for additional labor at a rate equal to that of poll managers. Seconded by Ms. Fambrough. Approved unanimously. MOTION by Ms. Fambrough that, by May 7, each board member shall provide to Ms. Perkins one name for the vote review panel and ballot duplication panel. Seconded by Ms. Till. Yea: Fambrough, Qadir, Raffle, Till. Nay: Shirley. Motion passes. G. New Business MOTION by Ms. Till to table New Business Item 4 until May. Seconded by Mr. Qadir. Approved unanimously. MOTION by Ms. Till to table New Business Item 5 until May. Seconded by Mr. Shirley. Approved unanimously. MOTION by Mr. Shirley to honor the request of the City of Winterville by moving advance voting at Winterville Train Depot, 125 North Street, from Saturday, May 14, to Monday, May  16, due to the Marigold Festival. Seconded by Ms. Till. Yea: Fambrough, Qadir, Shirley, Till. Nay: Raffle. H. Announcements 1. May Regular Meeting: Tuesday, May 10, 2022 @ 4:30pm 2. Deadlines for upcoming elections a. Poll workers needed! Apply to be a Part Time Poll Clerk at accgov.com/jobs b. April 25: Last day to register in order to vote in the May 24 election and in the June 21 runoff (if necessary) c. May 2: Advance (absentee in-person) Voting begins d. May 13: Last day to submit application for absentee ballot for May 24 election e. May 23: Last day to register in order to vote in Federal contests in the June 21 runoff (if necessary) I. MOTION by Ms. Fambrough to adjourn. Seconded by Mr. Shirley. Adjourned at 6:15pm.
