Minutes - Special Meeting Athens-Clarke County Board of Elections & Voter Registration July 18, 2023 5:00pm 2555 Lexington Road Bylaws of the Athens-Clarke County Board of Elections and Voter Registration (bit.ly/accboebylaws) Chair Raffle called the hearing to order at 5:00pm. In attendance were Rocky Raffle, Chair; Ann Till, Vice Chair; Adam Shirley, Secretary; Willa Fambrough, Member; and Hunaid Qadir, Member. Others in attendance were Charlotte Sosebee, Director; Lisa McGlaun, Elections Assistant; Aletha Perkins, Administrative Assistant; Judd Drake, County Attorney; and Niki Jones, Assistant County Manager. A. MOTION by Ms. Till to adopt the agenda. Seconded by Mr. Qadir. Approved unanimously. B. Public comment was heard from Inez Salas, Cristian Paez. and Brittany López. C. Old Business 1. New polling locations and precincts to take effect for the March 2024 Presidential Preference Primary 2. Scope of work for Spanish translation project manager MOTION by Mr. Shirley to finalize the scope of work for the Spanish translation project manager. Seconded by Ms. Fambrough. Approved unanimously. D. Announcements 1. Wednesday, July 19, 4:30pm, 2555 Lexington Road: Special Meeting (CCSD School Board) 2. Tuesday, August 9, 4:30pm, 120 W. Dougherty Street: Regular Meeting 3. Wednesday, August 16: National Poll Worker Day 4. Wednesday, September 13, 3:00pm-7:00pm, Athens-Clarke County Library: Disability Voting Week event 5. Tuesday, September 19: National Voter Registration Day 6. October 1 through 7: National Voter Education Week 7. Tuesday, October 3: Election Education Forum specifically for elected officials and political parties 8. Thursday, October 5: Election education forum specifically for voters E.
