Minutes - Special Meeting Athens-Clarke County Board of Elections & Voter Registration November 7, 2023 4:30pm 2555 Lexington Road, Athens, GA 30605 Chair Raffle called the meeting to order at 4:43pm. In attendance were Rocky Raffle, Chair; Ann Till, Vice Chair; Adam Shirley, Secretary; Willa Fambrough; and Hank Qadir, Member. Others in attendance were Charlotte Sosebee, Elections Supervisor; Audra Taylor, Elections Assistant; Lisa McGlaun, Elections Assistant; Aletha Perkins, Administrative Assistant; Niki Jones, Assistant County Manager; and Sherrie Hines, Assistant County Attorney. A. MOTION by Mr. Qadir to adopt the agenda. Seconded by Mr. Shirley. Approved unanimously. B. There was no public comment. C. Election Day update 1. Board members had nothing to discuss. 2. Director Sosebee updated us on several items, including an incident at a polling place. After hearing the incident report and the relevant code section, it is the board’s recommendation that the incident be passed along to the State Election Board. MOTION by Mr. Qadir to proceed in this manner. Seconded by Ms. Fambrough. Approved unanimously D. Announcements 1. Monday, November 13, 4:30pm: special called certification meeting at 2555 Lexington Road 2. Tuesday, November 14, 4:30pm: regular meeting at 120 W. Dougherty Street 3. Tuesday, December 5, 4:30pm: regular meeting at 120 W. Dougherty Street E. Adjourn MOTION by Ms. Fambrough to adjourn. Seconded by Ms. Till. Approved unanimously. Adjourned at 5:20pm.
