In attendance were Rocky Raffle, Chair; Willa Fambrough, Vice Chair; Ann Till, Member; Willa Fambrough; and Hank Qadir, Member. Others in attendance were Aletha Perkins, Administrative Assistant; Pamela Long, Elections Assistant; Audra Taylor, Elections Assistant; Niki Jones, Assistant County Manager; Sherrie Hines, Assistant County Attorney; and Courtney Davis, Assistant County Attorney. A. Adopt Agenda MOTION by Ms. Till to amend the agenda by adding under New Business a discussion of voter IDs issued by the Board of Elections and Voter Registration. Seconded by Ms. Fambrough. Approved unanimously. MOTION by Mr. Qadir to adopt the amended agenda. Seconded by Ms. Till. Approved unanimously. B. MOTION by Mr. Shirley to approve the minutes from the January 9 Special Meeting, January 23 Regular Meeting, and February 6 Special Meetings. Seconded by Ms. Till. Approved unanimously. C. Public Comment was heard from Ms. Jacqueline Elsner. D. Director Sosebee, Ms. Long, and Ms. Taylor presented the Director’s Report. E. Old Business Follow-up on Board Retreat on February 6 F. New Business 1. Approval of Poll Managers and Assistant Managers per O.C.G.A. §21-2-90 (10min - Staff) MOTION by Ms. Till to approve the list of poll managers and assistant managers for the March 12 Presidential Preference Primary as recommended by staff. Seconded by Mr. Shirley. Approved unanimously. 2. Voter IDs issued by the Board of Elections and Voter Registration G. Announcements 1. Monday, February 19: first day to vote early (absentee in-person) for March 12 Presidential Preference Primary election 2. Friday, March 1: last day to apply for absentee ballot for March 12 Presidential Preference Primary election 3. Monday, March 4: First day to qualify as a candidate in the May 2024 and November 2024 elections First day to request absentee ballot for May 2024 elections 4. Friday, March 8: last day to vote early (absentee in-person) for March 12 Presidential Preference Primary election 5. Friday, March 8, 12:00 noon: deadline to qualify as a candidate in the May 2024 and November 2024 elections 6. Tuesday, March 12: Last day to vote in Presidential Preference Primary (PPP) Make sure you know your voting precinct! You might have a new voting location. 7. Tuesday, March 12, 4:30pm: regular meeting, 2555 Lexington Road 8. Monday, March 18: special meeting, time and location to be determined (certification) 9. May 10: Last day to vote in May election H. MOTION by Ms. Fambrough to adjourn. Seconded by Ms. Till. Approved unanimously. Adjourned at 5:28pm.
