Old Business (Directors) Discussed the inclusion of charitable nonprofits. Types of charities allowed were discussed. Restriction to 501C3 nonprofits was discussed. Motion to approve language to allow businesses with (1) +20 employees and/or (2) 501C3 nonprofits- and allow nonprofits to opt out of occupational requirements- to apply for loans and grants, per approval of such language by City Manager: Kelly Girtz Second: Stephanie Lynn Directors unanimously approved motion E. New Business (Directors) No new business to discuss. F. Staff Report (Ilka McConnell, Economic Development Director, ACCUG) Reported on steps to be taken to increase awareness of JDA loans/grants.
