Unified Government of Athens-Clarke County, Georgia Mayor and Commission Special Called Session Friday, August 20, 2021 12:28 p.m. 780 Barber Street The Unified Government of Athens-Clarke County, Georgia met this date in a special called session. Present: Mayor Girtz; Commissioners Davenport, Link, Wright, Denson, Houle, Myers, and Thornton. Absent: Commissioners Parker, Edwards, and Hamby. The purpose of the meeting was to enter into executive session for discussion of personnel matters. A motion was made by Commissioner Wright, seconded by Commissioner Davenport, to enter into executive session for discussion of personnel matters. The motion passed by unanimous vote.
