Unified Government of Athens-Clarke County, Georgia Mayor and Commission Special Called Session Tuesday, October 1, 2024 5:09 p.m. City Hall Chamber 301 College Avenue The Unified Government of Athens-Clarke County, Georgia met this date in a special called session. Present: Mayor Girtz; Commissioners Link, Taylor, Wright, Fisher, Houle, Culpepper, Myers, Thornton and Hamby. Absent: Commissioner Davenport . The purpose of the meeting was to enter into executive session for discussion of real estate acquisition and/or disposal. A motion was made by Commissioner Link, seconded by Commissioner Fisher, to enter into executive session for discussion of real estate acquisition and/or disposal and to adjourn.
