Unified Government of Athens-Clarke County Mayor and Commission Special Called Session Tuesday, June 12, 2025 8:17 a.m. City Hall Room 301B The Mayor and Commission of the Unified Government of Athens-Clarke County, Georgia met this date in a special called session. Present: Mayor Girtz, Commissioners Davenport, Link, Taylor, Wright, Fisher, Myers, and Thornton. Commissioners Johnson, Culpepper, and Hamby were absent. The purpose of the meeting was to enter into executive session to discuss confidential personnel matters pursuant to O.C.G.A. § 50-14-3(b)(2). A motion was made by Commissioner Fisher, seconded by Commissioner Taylor, to enter into executive session. The motion passed by unanimous vote.
