UNIFIED GOVERNMENT OF ATHENS-CLARKE COUNTY PENSION
BOARD
REGULAR MEETING
Wednesday, March 4, 2020, 3:30 p.m.
The Athens-Clarke County Pension Board held a special called meeting on Wednesday,
March 4, 2020 in the Satula Avenue Government Building Training Room. The following
were in attendance:
ACCUG Pension Board Ordinance - Section 1-14-15 Members:
1. Mike Hamby, Commissioner and Pension Board Chair
2. Blaine Williams, Manager - ABSENT
3. David Boyd, Finance Director - ABSENT
4. Jeff Hale, Human Resources Director
5. Mike Hunsinger, Public Safety Employee Representative
6. Kevin Gentry, General Employee Representative
7. Bob Snipes, Retiree Representative - ABSENT
Ex Officio Members: Judd Drake, Attorney - ABSENT
Laura Welch, Secretary, Assistant HR Director
Traci Mason, Benefits & Wellness Administrator
Other ACCGov Professionals: Eric Griffin, Treasurer
The meeting was called to order at 3:34 p.m.
The Board approved the Investment Policy Statement as transmitted by staff in a Feb
25, 2020 email. Although there was a quorum present, tThe board members decided to Formatted: Strikethrough

• Discussion of Asset Allocation and Investment Strategy with PFM
Representatives.
The meeting adjourned at 3:40 p.m
(Note: Subsequent to this meeting, it was determined that the approved Investment
Policy Statement had incorrectly called for a 70% Equity/30% Fixed Income allocation of
Pension Fund assets rather than the Board approved 65%/35% Fixed Income
Allocation.)
