MINUTES EAST DOWNTOWN TAX ALLOCATION DISTRICT (TAD) ADVISORY COMMITTEE Thursday, June 15, 2022: 9:00AM-10:00AM Planning Department Auditorium 120 W. Dougherty St., Athens, GA 30601 Members Present: Rashe Malcom, Madeline Van Dyck, Fred Smith, Smith Wilson Members Absent: Regina Walker, Charlie Gluodenis, Rinne Allen ACC Staff Present: Caitlin Dye, Ilka McConnell A. Call to Order as a Regular Meeting: Caitlin Dye, Business Development and Incentives Coordinator, ACCGov Economic Development Department  Meeting began at 9:06am B. Approval of Agenda  Motion to approve: Smith Wilson Second: Fred Smith Unanimous vote to approve agenda C. Approval of 3/30/23 Minutes  Motion to approve: Madeline Van Dyck Second: Fred Smith Unanimous vote to approve agenda D. New Business:  Discuss and Prioritize Input Received from Open House Sessions and Survey i. How many people attended sessions? Approx. 40 people ii. Partner with Greenway Commission and Leisure Services to prioritize safe crossings on Peter Street. iii. Heard Park could be more developed. Example-walking trails around field. iv. Parking at Walker Park is very sparse! v. Community garden is needed. vi. GED Training with Athens Tech- Reach out to them to let them know about space. E. Committee Questions and Discussion  Should a spending percentage be set for each of the four goals? F. Next Steps  Schedule meeting with Leisure Services and Athens Tech   Each member make a list so that when we come back together it is a discussion of each list to make one larger one. G.
