Presentation, Discussion, and Vote on Amended TAD Committee Recommendation document to Mayor & Commission Regarding Proposed TAD Funding Request for Proposed Project at 2400 Lexington Road After a brief discussion, a motion was made to present the Amended TAD Committee recommendation letter to M&C as drafted by Chair, Mack Duncan with recommended revisions. Motion: Cshanyse Allen Second: Shane Dekle Unanimously approved by the Committee McConnell shared the difference in the amount of TAD dollars to be allocated for the 2400 Lexington Road project stated in the Community Benefits Agreement versus the original amount requested by the developers.  Committee discussed whether the letter to M&C should be revised to reflect the $2M in the Community Benefits Agreement versus the $2.9M as originally requested by the developers and presented to the TAD committee. Consensus was to leave the $2.9M in letter as written. E. Items for Next Agenda: Planning Commission cannot meet on June 3rd but is available on June 17th to meet with the committee. Committee expressed using meeting to brainstorm possible projects for the Lexington-Road Corridor. F. Date For Next Meeting: Thurs, June 3rd at 5:30 pm, In-Person Location: Athens Ben Epps Airport, Terminal Building Meeting Room McConnell would check to see if meeting can be held both in-person and on-line if needed.
