MINUTES MALL AREA TAX ALLOCATION DISTRICT (TAD) ADVISORY COMMITTEE Tuesday, May 17, 2022 – 3:30 pm The meeting was held remotely, via WebEx. Call to Order as a Regular Meeting: Michael Seibert 1. Meeting began at 3:34 PM B. Approval of Agenda 1. Motion to approve: Denise Ricks Second: Jennifer Zwirn Unanimous vote to approve agenda C. Approval of Minutes 1. Motion to approve: Jennifer Zwirn Second: Denise Ricks Unanimous vote to approve agenda D. New Business: 1. Update on Mall Development and Tentative Schedule i. The Mall Development Site Design Engineer has changed from Abe Abouhamdan to W&A Engineering. Based on an early discussion with W&A Engineering, Ilka and Caitlin are hopeful to receive a TAD application from them in late June. Ilka, Caitlin and several other individuals from county have a meeting with W&A Engineering next week to discuss timeline and procedures. Caitlin will share with them at that time the TAD Priorities that have been set by this committee. ACCGov has not seen a new plan from W&A Engineering, so they are unsure what all will be changing from the previous plan. ii. Caitlin will be sending the committee the TAD Application and Policy Guide so that committee can review. 2. Personal Update from Michael Seibert i. Michael Seibert made the committee aware that he has been approached by one of the construction developers for the Mall Development to construct signs for the project. Michael has discussed recusal options with Sherrie Hines, ACCGov Assistant County Attorney, seeing that there is a conflict of interest in place  and will be determining which option to proceed with as time gets closer to when a TAD application is received.
