Members Present: Daniel Epting, Pete Dugas, Mike Leggett Members Absent: Leon Leathers, David Barbe A. Call to Order as a Regular Meeting: Caitlin Dye 1. Meeting began at 3:21pm B. Motion to approve minutes: Pete Dugas Second: Daniel Epting Unanimous approval of minutes D. Old Business: 1. Finalize Traffic Calming Ideas to Present to Mayor and Commission i. Pivot recommendation to it being one that phases in stop signs then roundabouts. ii. Once priority list is accepted by Mayor and Commission, the next steps is to start working on details of how to make the first priority happen and then go back to Mayor and Commission asking for their approval to expend money on priority. 2. Determine 2024 Meeting Schedule i. June 17, July 15, August 12, September 16, October 21, November 18 and December 9. E. Committee Questions and Discussion 1. End date for construction on Chase St. project is late 2028/early 2029. 2. A Road diet study has two phases. The initial one to determine if it is feasible costs roughly $20k and then a concept design costs roughly $200k. 3. A road diet study to implementation takes about 3 years.  4. Stop sign installation was not priced due to it being unsafe with traffic volume and high speed. F. Date for Next Meeting: June 17, 2024 G. Adjourn 1.
