THE AUDIT AND FINANCE COMMITTEE WILL MEET ON MONDAY, MARCH 5, 2018 AT 9:30 AM, AUSTIN CITY HALL 301 W. SECOND STREET AUSTIN, TX Ellen Troxclair, Chair Kathie Tovo, Vice-Chair Steve Adler Leslie Pool A quorum of the City Council may be present at this meeting. Action will only be taken by the members of the committee. The committee may go into a closed session under the Open Meetings Act, Section 551.071, of the Texas Government Code, to receive advice from legal counsel on any item on this agenda. CALL TO ORDER Approval of Minutes 1. Approve the minutes of the Audit and Finance Committee Meeting of January 24, 2018. Citizen Communication: General 2. A maximum of five speakers signed up before the meeting is called to order will each be allowed three minutes to address topics not posted for committee action. Speakers may also sign up for specific items that the committee may take action on. Discussion and Possible Action 3. On-Call Utilization Audit that looked at whether the City is managing on-call and call-back assignments effectively and efficiently. Austin Energy Cable Inventory Management Audit that looked at whether Austin Energy is efficiently and effectively managing the return of issued cable and scrap cable.
