THE AUSTIN ENERGY UTILITY OVERSIGHT COMMITTEE WILL MEET ON WEDNESDAY, APRIL 25, 2018 AT 1:30 PM, AUSTIN CITY HALL 301 W. Action will only be taken by the members of the committee. The committee may go into a closed session under the Open Meetings Act, Section 551.071, of the Texas Government Code, to receive advice from legal counsel on any item on this agenda. CALL TO ORDER Approval of Minutes 1. Approve the minutes of the February 28, 2018 and March 28, 2018 Austin Energy Utility Oversight Committee meetings. Citizen Communication: General 2. The first five speakers signed up before the meeting is called to order will each be allowed three minutes to speak. Briefing 3. General Manager’s report: · Downed power line safety. · Upcoming items to be brought to Council: advanced distribution management system software, integration and analytics software, natural gas transportation agreements, energy research with UT Austin, agreement with the City of Bee Cave for reimbursement of costs for constructing underground electric lines, switchgear parts, manhole lifting devices, district cooling projects. · Customer Care and Billing system version upgrade. · Renewable energy request for proposal. · Senate Business & Commerce Committee interim charge. · Innovation update: La Loma community solar farm, Austin Sustainable and Holistic Integration of Energy Storage and Solar Photovoltaics (SHINES) project. · Awards and recognition of Austin Energy employees.
